Details: The Justus Companies has been dedicated to serving the Indianapolis community since 1910. Woodland Terrace at New Palestine Inspired Senior Living is the newest project to further show their dedication. JBI was awarded the electrical contract for this $1,400,000 project. Construction started in September 2016 and was completed in November 2017.
The degree of difficulty wasn’t high on this project, but there were some obstacles to overcome. The project started near the winter of 2016. This made it difficult to complete the underground electrical work in freezing temperatures. We worked with the owner and engineer on value engineering options that were accepted and saved the owner significantly in construction costs.
This project was completed by 15 of our employees with a range of 5 to 15 years of experience. As the electrical contractors, we made power connections to all MEP and food service equipment, including a 300kW diesel generator. We provided lighting and power throughout the entire building and site.
